Eric Dean Ferrell

February 15, 1953 - January 12, 2022

Chester, SC: Eric Dean Ferrell, 68, died Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Chester MUSC Nursing Center. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday January 15, 2022 at Tabernacle Ministries with Pastors Ken Compton, Howard Penegar and Frankie Snead Isaac officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, January 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Eric was born in Chester, South Carolina on February 15, 1953 and was the son of Ruby Jean Lavender Ferrell and the late Ebbie Ross Ferrell. He attended the schools of Great Falls SC and was the owner and operator of Ferrell's Roofing and the Pastor of Rock for all Ages Pentecostal Holiness Church. Eric was a mighty man of God and he loved to testify of Jesus. He wanted to make sure that you know Jesus as your personal Saviour. In addition to his father, Eric is preceded in death by his grandson, Bryton Mobley and his sister Dian Perry and his brother Anthony Ross Ferrell. He is survived by his wife of over forty- three years Patsy Dillinger Ferrell; three children Kevin Ferrell of Lancaster, SC, Deanna Ferrell Mobley and Derrick Ferrell (Jennifer) of Chester, SC; seven grandchildren, Braden Mobley and Ashlyn Mobley both of Chester, SC, Sydney Ferrell and Marley Ferrell of Lancaster, SC , Derrick Ferrell and Rivers Matthews of Chester, SC and Andrew Sims of Conway, SC, his mother Ruby Jean Lavender Ferrell and his sister, Crystal Ferrell Banks of Great Falls SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
