Glenda Love Martin

Glenda Love Martin, 74, died Tuesday June 3, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday June 8 in the chapel of Barron Funeral Home with the Rev Earl Ogburn officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 3 PM at Barron Funeral Home.

Ms Martin was born October 26, 1950 in Chester County and was the daughter of the late Melvin Wylie Love and Doris Vernelle Clark. She attended the schools of Chester County. She worked for Springs Industries until it’s closing and later retired from Cato Fashion.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she served as the Church librarian for several years. Glenda was an avid reader and was known for her baking skills especially her pound cakes. Most importantly, she loved her family and her church family.

She is survived by one daughter, Windy M Hudson (Robbie McCorkle) of Chester and one son, Travis McCameron (Sheila) of Rock Hill; five grandchildren; Tyler Hudson (Jenna), Michael Hudson (Bethany), Cameron Stamey, Rylee Stamey and Connor McCameron; six great grandchildren, Carter, Abel and Memphis Hudson; DJ Bennett, Izabella and Whitely Hudson; one brother, Doug Love (Libby), and one sister, Cynthia Childers. Two dear friends, Geraldine Craig and Cora Foster and her uncle John Love

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Martin and her oldest daughter, Kimberly McCameron Stamey.
