Chester Mrs. Cathy Darlene Price Houston, 64, died Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Piedmont Medical Center. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a late date. Interment is private. Mrs. Houston was born April 28, 1956 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of Dorothy West Price. She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Springs Industries. She is survived by two daughters, Tracey Houston Smith (Russell) of Chester, SC and Colene Houston (Ken Ward) of Union ,SC ; eleven grandchildren, Cole Pendergrass, Sabrina Smith, Jacob Pendergrass, Gabriel Pendergrass, Nick Smith, Jacob Smith, Emory Smith, Houston Ward, Justin Ward, Kensley Ward and Ashton Ward; one great-grandson, John Coleman Smith; one sister, Gail Rodgers (John) of Chester, SC; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Houston was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Eugene Houston. Memorials may be made to Relay for Life/American Cancer Society, C/O Christy Wilburn, 587 Lakenglen Road, Chester, SC 29706.
