CHESTER, SC: Mr. William Thomas "Dump" McDaniel, 83, died Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at his residence.The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2016 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Dorsey officiating.The interment will be in Union Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2016 at Barron Funeral Home. Born September 20, 1933 in Chester, SC, Mr. McDaniel was the son of the late William Martin McDaniel and Addie Nevada Wylie McDaniel.He was a graduate of Oakley Hall High School and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.He was retired from Springs Industries Eureka Plant and was an avid Coon Hunter. He is survived by his daughter, Ann M. Wages (Ronnie) of Chester, SC; one son, Bo McDaniel (Candi) of Heath Springs, SC; four grandchildren, Austin McDaniel and Haley Sims both of Heath Springs and Faith Wages and Hope Wages both of Chester, SC and one sister, Margaret Bigham of Chester, SC.
