Stephen Lawrence "Larry" Nichols

Mr. Stephen Lawrence “Larry” Nichols, 69,  died Monday, February 19, 2024 at MUSC Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Wilksburg Baptist Church with Rev. Seth Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday also at the church.

Mr. Nichols was born June 10, 1954 in St. Albans, WV a son of the late Hershel Nichols and Greta Lee Nichols. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended York Tech and also some extension work with Clemson University. He was retired from SCDOT as an engineer and also worked with Triplett-King and Associates. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing , gardening and  raising chickens.

He is survived by one son, Jacob Bennett (Brittany) of Simpsonville, SC; one daughter, Haven Bennett (Denzell) of Chester, SC; three grandchildren, Kenzie Everett, Askylah Everett and Greyson Bennett and other extended family.
