Chester Mr. Robert Wilks Miller, Sr., 78, died Sunday, October 11, 2020.All services are private. Mr. Miller was born May 18, 1942 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late James Oscar Miller and Eloise Ashe Miller.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Vietnam.Mr. Miller was retired from Arctic Structures in Charlotte.Robert was an accomplished Harley mechanic and built his own ultra-light plane which he loved. He is survived by his life partner, Ellen Wilson; one son, Robbie Miller of Chester, SC; one step daughter, Nina Sharder (Wayne) of Sharon, SC; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Cameron of Jonesville, SC and Morine Davis of Chester, SC; and three brothers, Lemond Miller and Mike Miller of Rock Hill, SC and Ronnie Miller(Martha) of Chester, SC.Mr. Miller was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Littles; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Stewart; and a step daughter, Cindy Huffstetler.
