Mrs. Pauline Wages Douglas, 86, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend David Sealy officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 1:00 ? 2:00 pm Thursday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester. Born November 29, 1923 in Gastonia, NC, Mrs. Douglas was a daughter of the late Pierce and Florence Hudspeth Wages.She attended Chester County Schools and was retired from Springs Industries as a weaver.She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the widow of Robert E. Douglas. Surviving are one son, Ralph D. Douglas of Chester; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two sisters, Elizabeth Edge of Chester and Edna Benson of Chester and several nieces and nephews.
