CHESTER:Mr. Norman Eugene Youngblood, 81, died Saturday, January 03, 2015 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC.The funeral service will 2:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2015 at Chester Freedom Ministries with Rev. Steve Bishop and Rev. Jeff McWatters officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2015 at Chester Freedom Ministries. Born May 31, 1933 in Chester County, SC, Mr. Youngblood was the son of the late John Andrew Youngblood and Edna Wint Youngblood.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing.He was a veteran of the US Army and S.C. National Guard.He was a member of Fort Mill Community Church and attended Chester Freedom Ministries.He was an avid die hard Clemson fan. He is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Betty M. Youngblood; three sons, Gene Youngblood (Sherry) of York, SC, Terry Paul (Deborah) of Rembert, SC and Dean Paul (Natalie) of Chester; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Arnice McWatters of Chester and Margie Banks of Blackstock and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his first wife Elsie Brakefield Youngblood; daughter, Judy Carol Paul and an infant son, Andy Dean Youngblood.
