Gulf Shores, AL Mr. Nicholas Gage Jones, 21, died Sunday, March 19, 2017.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brian Howard officiating.Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home. Born January 26, 1996 in Chester, SC, Mr. Jones was a son of Kenneth Leonard Jones and Ashley Nicole Thomas.He attended the schools of Chester County and was employed with Rouses Grocery Store in Gulf Shores, Alabama.Gage attended First Church of the Nazarene and Saluda Street Church of God in Chester, SC.He enjoyed soccer and had a passion for fishing and loved his family. He is survived by his father, Kenneth L. Jones of Gulf Shores, AL and his close friend Melissa Slocum of Lake Wylie, SC; his mother, Ashley N. Thomas of Chester, SC; paternal grandfather, Jerry Ray Jones of Gulf Shores, AL; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Renee and Tommy Bagley of Chester, SC; and maternal grandmother, Barbara Barber of Chester, SC.
