Mrs. Champion was born February 23, 1954 in York, SC and was a daughter of the late Lamar Geran Champion and Ellen Shytle Champion. She was a high school graduate and was owner/operator of a real estate firm with her husband. She is survived by two sons, Daniel Shannon of Southport, NC and Taylor Shannon of Holly Springs, NC; one granddaughter, Danielle Shannon stationed in Germany; one sister, Marla Lowder of Ft.
