Chester Mrs. Martha Sue Boyce Misenheimer, 77, died Monday, April 9, 2018, at Chester Regional Medical Center.A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Purity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jason Myers officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends in the social hall of the church on Wednesday immediately following the service. Mrs. Misenheimer was born October 5, 1940 in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Joseph Elbert Boyce and Mary Buff Boyce.She was a graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, SC and Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC.Mrs. Misenheimer was retired from the Chester County Schools as a P.E. teacher and coach.She was a member of Purity Presbyterian Church and a dedicated volunteer with her church and the ministerial food pantry. She is survived by a sister, Elaine League of Clinton; one niece, Meredith Pitts (Billy) of Greenwood; three nephews, Mick Glenn of Greenwood, Christian Cook of Clinton and David Glenn (Nicole) of New Providence, NJ; numerous great nieces and nephews; and her caregiver and special friend, Pam Williams of Charlotte, NC.Mrs. Misenheimer was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Guy Misenheimer; a son, Mel Misenheimer; and a sister, Barbara Glenn.
