Richburg Mr. Larry Eugene Oliver, 66, died Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Piedmont Medical Center.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, January 16, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Oliver was born March 22, 1953 in Rockingham, NC and was a son of the late Robert E. Oliver and Mary Catherine Smith Oliver.He attended the schools of Rock Hill, SC and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.He was retired from PPI in Richburg.Larry was a huge NASCAR fan and loved the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary Lineberger Oliver; five children, Adrienne Stevens of Florida, Waylon and Brenna Oliver of Fort Mill, SC, Ladd Oliver of Charlotte, NC and Jennifer Rollins of Roanoke, VA; three grandchildren, Kiya Rollins, Brittin White and Holden White; two sisters, Brenda Vance (Bobby) of Blackrock, AR and Kay Coyle (Johnny) of York, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta "Robbie" Garrison.
