Chester Mr. James Edward “Jimmy” Aiken, 52, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 15, 2015, at Barron Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Bishop officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Born December 4, 1962 in Chester, SC, he was a son of Estelle Blackwell Aiken and the late Murphy Aiken.He was a graduate of Chester High School, formerly employed with Food Lion and Bi-Lo in Rock Hill and also worked with Sunbeam and Merita Bread.Mr. Aiken was of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to his mother, Estelle B. Aiken of Chester, he is survived by his long-time companion, Becky Rochester of Chester; two daughters, Kaysie Aiken and Joy McKeown both of Chester; and one grandson and “special little buddy” Jad Wessinger of Chester.
