CHESTER Mr. H. Neil Love, 81, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Chester Regional Nursing Center. The funeral service will be 4:00 PM Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Chester ARP Church with Rev. Clint Davis and Dr. Dwight Pearson officiating.The interment will in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm? 8:00 pm Saturday at Barron Funeral Home. Born July 18, 1930 in Chester, SC, Mr. Love was a son of the late Archie A. Love and Alice Adkins Love.He was a graduate of Chester High School and a veteran of U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict.All of his tours were in the Mediterranean. He was retired from Kanawha Insurance Company as an agent. Mr. Love was a member of the Chester ARP Church where he served as a Deacon, Elder, and former youth leader for over thirty-five years. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Barbara Poole Love; two sons, Gary ?Bud? Love and wife Sue of Clover, SC and Richard ?Rick? Love and wife Janet of Waxhaw, NC; four grandchildren, Meagan Love, Garrison Love, Owen Love and Austin Love; three brothers, Paul M. Love of Chester, Harold E. Love of Crestview, FL and Donald Love of Columbia, SC.He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Love and a sister Rachel Ferris.
