Grady Lee Vinson, Jr

Chester, SC: Grady Lee Vinson, Jr. died Monday September, 16, 2013 at Chester Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held2:00 PM Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Mr. Michael Vinson officiating. The family will receive friends also Thursday at Barron Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be held in Chester Memorial Gardens. Mr. Vinson was born in Chester County, SC on December 30, 1931. He was a son of the late Grady L. Vinson, Sr. and Evelyn Belue Allen. Mr. Vinson was a graduate of the schools of Chester County and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. He was retired from Platt Saco-Lowell. Mr. Vinson is survived by two sons, Steve Vinson of Columbia, SC and Michael Vinson(Kelly) of Chester, SC; one daughter, Wanda V. Inman of Murrelles Inlet, SC; eight grandchildren, Eric, Shawn and Stephanie Vinson, Shannon Cooper, Chad and Timothy Vinson, Krystal I. Blanchett and Jennifer Inman and eleven great-grandchildren.
