Freda Grant Howe

Rock Hill: Mrs. Freda Grant Howe, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 19, 2015 at Agape Senior Care in Rock Hill, SC. Her life's celebration service will be on Friday May 22 at 11:am at Bethel United Methodist Church, Chester, SC with Rev Eric Shepard officiating. The interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens afterwards. The Family invites friends to visit and rejoice with them from 10:am-11:am in the Church sanctuary. Born December 11, 1935 in Lockhart, SC , Mrs. Howe was a daughter of the late William Aubrey Grant and Bleeka Sigmon Grant. She was a 1954 graduate of Chester High School. Mrs. Howe was retired from Chester County Schools enjoying over 27 rewarding years working with special need Children in both the classroom and driving their bus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant children Lesi Denise and one son; two sisters Anita Grant Stevens and her identical twin Frances Grant Linderman. Mrs. Howe is survived by her loving Husband and high school sweetheart of over 62 years Ray S. Howe, one son Ray "Stan" Howe and wife Elizabeth of Roswell, GA; two daughters, Jenifer H. Stone and husband Mike of York, SC and Emily H. Greene and husband Tim of Fort Mill, SC. Three adorablegrandchildren Seth Greene, Sam Harcher, Aubrey Stone and one sister Nancy G. Smith of Chester.
