Eva Durham Steadman

Mrs. Eva Durham Steadman, 99, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill, SC. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Dr. Barry Lambert officiating.The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Carol and Barry Lambert. Born July 30, 1910 in Chester County, Mrs. Steadman was a daughter of the late Ross Durham and Eva Fant Durham.She was a graduate of Chester High School and Winthrop College and also a member of Purity Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Steadman was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.She was the widow of Robert Earl Steadman. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Lambert and her husband Barry of Rock Hill and Judy Greer of Shelby, NC; four grandchildren, Lisa Fuqua and her husband Tim of Rock Hill, SC, Ashley Gibson and her husband John of Rock Hill, Jennifer Ormond and her husband Caja of Shelby, NC, Robert Greer and his wife Emily of Shelby, NC; five great grandchildren, Wesley Fuqua and Elaina Fuqua of Rock Hill, SC and Virginia and Mary Hope Gibson of Rock Hill and Madison Ormand of Shelby, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
