CHESTER- Mr. Alfred Douglas ?Doug? Johnson, 63, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at his residence. A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Davin Johnson officiating. Born in Conway, SC on September 27, 1944, he was the son of the late Murray C. andNina Lundy Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Aynor High School, York Technical College and Community College of the U.S. Air Force.He was a member of Uriel Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and a member of Conway Masonic Lodge #65 and Omar Shrine Temple.He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force and the widower of Terry Lee Vannoy Johnson. Surviving are his two sons, Douglas Lynn Johnson of Conway, SC and Rev. Davin Lee Johnson of Aynor, SC; two daughters, Freda Lynn Johnson of Fort Mill, SC and Rachel Lee Johnson of Chester, SC; seven grandchildren; three brothers Wallace Johnson and his wife Sharon of Florence, SC, Errol Johnson and his wife Nell of Conway, SC and Bayliss Johnson and his wife Nancy of Conway, SC; one sister, Petty Gentry of Clemson, SC; two sister-in-laws, Kathy McCracken of Galivants Ferry, SC and Cindy Martin of Aynor, SC.
