Mrs. Beverly Hilton Grant, 79, died Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC.The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Wolfe officiating.The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church and other times at 1298 Oak Hill Road, Chester. Born December 5, 1932 in Charleston, SC, Mrs. Grant was the daughter of Archie Smith Hilton, Sr. and Helen Linder Hilton. She was a graduate of Meminger High School in Charleston, SC and attended Roper Nursing School.She was retired from Farm Bureau Insurance and also worked with Bill Keels Law Firm.She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a member of Friends of the Animals.Mrs. Grant was an avid Clemson Tiger Fan. She is survived by her husband of thirty-three years, Buddy Grant; three sons, James “Jimmy” Robert Bagley, III of Charleston, Randall Thomas Bagley of Beaufort, SC and John Kipling “Kip” Bagley of Easley, SC; one daughter, Ann Bagley Torbert of Chester, SC; two granddaughters, Blakely Ann Torbert and Marianna Torbert both of Chester; four great grandchildren, Kyan Kennedy, Jakoby Kennedy and Victoria Chambers and Shaniyah Johnson all of Chester and two dogs Hazel and Buffy whom she loved.
