Anita Grant Stevens

Mrs. Anita Grant Stevens, 79, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her home.The funeral will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at First Baptist Church Chester with Rev. Clay Waldrip and Rev. John Linderman officiating.The interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 Monday at Barron Funeral Home. Born January 16, 1933 in Lockhart, SC, Mrs. Stevens was a daughter of the late William Aubrey Grant and Bleeka Sigmon Grant.She was a graduate of Chester High School and Chester Vocational School.Mrs. Stevens was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from Dr. Jerry Robinsons Medical Practice and a member of First Baptist Church Chester.She is the widow of Marion Richard Stevens. She is survived by one son, Richard “Ricky” Stevens, Jr. and wife Karen of Chester; two daughters, Pamela S. Gourley and Janet S. Roberts both of Chester; four grandchildren, Amy Perry, Brooke Gourley, Cody Roberts and Lauren Faust; one great Grandchild, Raegan Perry; three sisters, Freda G. Howe and Nancy G. Smith both of Chester and Frances G. Linderman of Kings Mountain, NC.
