CHESTER Mrs. Zelma B.Fairfax, 76, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Chip McArthur officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Friday at Barron Funeral Home. Born May 23, 1934 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Fairfax was a daughter of the late Broadus Belvin Bagwell and Mamie Sue Wilbanks Bagwell.She attended the schools of Chester and was retired from Chester Sportswear and a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She was the widow of Mr. William Harry Fairfax. She is survived by three sons, Terry Fairfax and his wife Vickie of Chester, Jeff Fairfax and his wife Kathy of McConnells, SC and Keith Fairfax of Sharon, SC; two daughters, Susan Fairfax Cato and her husband James of Beaufort, SC, Sherry Fairfax Malphus and her husband Harry of Hartsville, SC; one step-son, Wayne Osborne and his wife Georgeanne of Union, SC; five sisters, Elsie Stiles, Elaine Howard, Lynda O?Neal and Geraldine Helms all of Chester and Shirley Duffie of Vaucluse, SC; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Tinsley, one grandson, Logan Tinsley and two sisters and one brother.
