Winston Douglas "Butch" Church

CHESTER: Mr. Winston Douglas “Butch” Church, 71, died March 23, 2016 at his home.A celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Chester Catawba Regional Airport Terminal Building.The family request casual attire. Born November 3, 1944 in Chester, SC, Butch was the son of the late Gonzalo Zeb Church and Imogene Jeffcoat Church.He was a graduate of Chester High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.He was retired as manager of the Chester Catawba Regional Airport. He is survived by his wife of over seventeen years, Mona Robinson Church; two sons, Brett Church (Brenda)and Winston D. “Bear” Church, II (Dora) both of Chester; one daughter, Kimberly Tester of Boone, NC; one step-daughter, Nathalie Hammonds of Chester; one step-son, Charlie Hammonds of Clover; nine grandchildren, Little Brett, Matt, Pacey, Clay, Mason, Austin, Amia, Shana and S.J.
