Wilma Lee Walker Fite

Mrs. Wilma Lee Walker Fite, 92, died Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at her home. All services will be private.

Mrs. Fite was born June 3, 1934 in Gastonia, NC and was the daughter of the late Jonas Walker and Edith Taylor Walker. She was a graduate of Kings Mountain High School and retired from Textile Arts and Film after over 15 years of service. Wilma was an avid reader and also enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy F. Garrison of Rock Hill, SC and Linda F. Wilks (Terry) of Chester, SC; one sister, Jean Cain; nine grandchildren, Stacie Garrison, Gina Garrison, Lacy Caskey, Rian Wilks, Braeden Fite, EmmeLynn Fite, Trip Grant, Shanna Diep and Corey Grant; eight great-grandchildren, Kynlee Millen, Jay Millen, Landrie Wilks, Ryker Carter, Kimber Carter, Joshua Diep, Madison Grant and Zachary Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 25 years, Raymond M. Fite; daughter, Crystal F. Dragone and her son, Steven Fite.
