CHESTER, SC Mrs. Willie Mae Roddy, 92, of Chester died Thursday, January22, 2009 at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday,January 25, 2009 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wood officiating.Interment will in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born September 6, 1916 in Greer, SC Mrs. Roddy was the daughter of the late Bud Thomas Sosebee and Mary Ann Smith Sosebee.She was retired from Springs Industries. Surviving is one sister,Ruby Palmer of Oklahoma and many nieces, nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by her life long sweetheart and husband of over sixty years, Major Wilson Roddy and an infant daughter June Roddy.
