CHESTERMr. William Â?BillÂ? Earsel Odom, 81, died Monday, November 21, 2011 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.The service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Woodward Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Hinson and Rev. Don Etters officiating.The interment will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm Â? 8:00 pm Tuesday at Barron Funeral Home.Born September 1, 1930 in Cherokee, Alabama, Mr. Odom was the son of the late Jessie James Odom and Bessie Lee Goddard Odom.He attended the schools of Anniston, Alabama and was retired from Palmetto Electronics as owner and operator.He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Woodward Baptist Church.He is the widow of Laura Ann Warmoth Odom. He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Odom of Chester; two sons, Gene Odomof Chester and Brian Odom and his wife Robin of Pinebluff, NC; two granddaughters, Kathy Odom George of Seven Lakes, NC and Wendy Odom Wyler of Pinehurst, NC; three great granddaughters, Adrianna Taylor of Seven Lakes, NC, Amy Wyler and Michael Wyler both of Pinehurst, NC and one sister, Mary Sue Odom of Rock Hill, SC.Memorials may be made to Woodward Baptist Church, 1570 Ashford Road, Chester, SC 29706.Online condolences to the family can be made at www.barronfuneralhome.com.
