William Floyd Mcwatters

Mr. William Floyd McWatters, 79, of 1253 Saluda Road entered into presence ofhis Lord Jesus Christ on February 4, 2009. The funeral will be 3:00 Friday at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rick Wheeler and Rev. Jeff McWatters officiating.Burial will be at Chester Memorial Gardens. Born July 26, 1929 in Chester County, Mr. McWatters was the son of the late Jesse Lee McWatters and Willie Curry McWatters.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.He was retired from Schlegel South Carolina. Surviving are his wife, Arnice Youngblood McWatters; two daughters, Deborah M. McCarley and her husband Bill of Chester and Janice M. Resendiz and her husband Rogaciano of Rock Hill, SC; four grandchildren, Trey and his wife Whitney McCarley of Elgin, SC, Creighton McCarley of Elgin, SC, Andy and his wife Rhonda Freeman of Rock Hill, Jennifer and her husband Urias Vazquez of Rock Hill, SC; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Tommy McWatters and his wife Dona of Chester; one sister, Betty M. Youngblood and her husband Norman of Chester. Preceded in death by one brother, Harvey McWatters and one sister Nancy Gertrude McWatters. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Thursday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
