William Carl McAbee

Mr. William Carl McAbee, 66, died, Monday, July 13, 2026 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. A gathering of friends will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the home of Ronnie and Tommy Byars.

Mr. McAbee was born September 24, 1959 in Chester, SC and was the son of the late B.C. McAbee and Wilma Guyton McAbee. He was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Chester County Natural Gas after over 25 years of service and worked with Randy Horne Heating and Air for many years. P Nut was an avid Harley-Davidson man and owned several throughout his life. He loved Christmas lights and decorating the lights on his famous tree on 2nd street. He was a member of Saluda Street Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Niwana Parkins McAbee; three children, Tommy Byars (Ronnie) of Chester, SC, Cody McAbee (Suzette) of Chester, SC and Brian McAbee (MaryAnn) of Chester, SC; four grandchildren, Chase, Trent, Brooks and Briar Grace; one great-grand Bentley; In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Mike McAbee and one sister, Ann Campbell.
