Chester Mr. William Lucha Enix, Jr., 53, died Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 4, at Barron Funeral Home.Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Enix was born December 27, 1959 in Chester County, SC and was a son of William L. Enix, Sr. and Shirley Sims Enix.He was a great outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.He grew his own vegetables and other produce.Some of his talents included making jewelry, wood carving, and taxidermy. In addition to his parents, William and Shirley Enix of Chester, he is survived by one son, Ross Enix and wife Bailey of Edgemoor; two grandchildren, Peyton Enix of Edgemoor and Brianna Chytoe of Chester; two step-daughters, Beth Tillman of Chester and Carolyn Tillman of Minnesota; one brother, Mark Horne of Pageland; and two sisters, Jeri Enix of Chester and Teri Dickerson of Texas.He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Enix.
