Chester Mr. William Calvin “Bill” Hinson, Jr.,64, died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at his home. Funeral services willbe held at 3:00 PMTuesday, May 15 at Together As One withRev. Roger Roof , Rev. Geraldine Clawson and Rev. Ronnie Green officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Hinson was born July 17, 1953in Lockhart, SCand was a son of the late William Calvin Hinson, Sr. and Juanita Lear Gibson Hinson. He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Schlegel CorporationASA as a fork lift operator. Bill was an accomplished soloist and enjoyed ministering to others through music. He also enjoyed watching wrestling as a past time. Sports was something he enjoyed.Mr. Hinson was a member of Together As One. He is survived by his wife of over 38 years Patsy Ellis Hinson; three sons, Ricky Odom (Tyanne) of Chester, Billy Hinson (Frances Ruark) of Delmar, DE, Randy Hinson ( Kelli) of Chester.; three daughters, Cindy Jessie ( Tim) of Fort Lawn, Renee Ward of Chester, Lisa Axley of Greenville; nine grandchildren, Josh, LeAnne, Patrick, Tiffany, Darrell, Drew, Bailee, Blake, Payton; eight great-grandchildren , Gabby, Savannah, Lola, Levi, Brandon, Joey, Ryleigh, Kinlee; four brothers, Harold (Robert) Hinson (Vanessa) of McConnells, Danny Hinson of Fort Lawn, Jerry Hinson of Florence and Leevy Hinson of Fayetteville. Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by one brother Wayne “Darrell” Hinson; two sisters Elaine Hensley and Linda Stanford and an infant brother Michael Donnie Hinson.
