Blair Mr. William Francis Clack, 87, died Friday, September, 2, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September, 5, 2022 at Cool Branch Baptist Church with Rev. John Epps officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00 PM at the church. Mr. Clack was born January 24, 1935 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Johnny William Clack and Mollie Dove Clack. He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Cone Mills as a Quality Control Manager and was a veteran of the US Navy . He was a member of Coleman Chapter Masonic lodge number 97 for over 50 years. Francis was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Clack was a member of Cool Branch Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon and Choir Member. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of over 59 years, Mae Claudette Dickerson Clack and his brother, Leon Clack; he is survived by two daughters, Avonda Clack Hendricks (Bill) of Peachtree City, GA, and Beth Clack of Columbia, SC; one sister, Elizabeth Brakefield of Manning, SC; two grandsons, Brent Hendricks (Paige) of Dacula, GA and Mitch Hendricks (Kristen) of Brooks, GA; three great-grandchildren, Liam Hendricks and Grayson Hendricks of Dacula, GA and Maddie Hendricks of Brooks, GA; numerous nieces and nephews,. Memorials may be made to Cool Branch Baptist Church, 10726 State Hwy, 215 N Blair, SC 29015 or Connie Maxwell Children's Home, PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648.
