Mr. William Timothy Darby, 64, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Fountain of Life Church of God with Rev. Ronald Chavis and Rev. Fred Bryant officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Wednesday, April 18, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Darby was born September 27, 1953 in Chester, SC.He attended the schools of Chester County, SC and was retired from Allvac Industries.He was a member of Fountain of Life Church of God.Tim was an avid golfer and Clemson fan - “Go Tigers”. He is survived by his mother, Earline Johnson Webb; two daughters, Kim Williford (Rodney) of Chester and Kathy Hunter of Catawba; one son, Butch Hunter (Melanie) of Catawba; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Cathy Lee and Gail Levister both of Chester; one brother, Gary Darby (Donna) of Chester; and numerous nieces and nephews.Tim was preceded in death by his father, William Henry “Pee Wee” Darby.
