William Lyles Conner

Mr. William Lyles Conner, 75, died Friday, November 29, 2013 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC.A memorial service will be held Monday, December 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Capers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Bryson Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Monday at Capers Chapel United Methodist Church. Born November 24, 1938 in Chester, SC, Mr. Conner was a son of the late William Henry and Mabel Gibson Connor.He was a graduate of Chester High School and previously employed with Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Company and also self employed as a paint contractor.He was a member of the S.C. National Guard and Capers Chapel United Methodist Church. He survived by three sons, Billy Dean Conner of Section, AL, Tim Conner of Fayetteville, TN and Brett Conner of Lewisville, NC; one daughter, Shannon C. Warner of Alpharetta, GA; his very special friend, Wanda B. Baker of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Ervin Connor and his wife Kathy and Dexter Connor and his wife Betty all of Chester, SC; two sisters, Patsy C. Jones and her husband Jimmy and Mary Jo C. Calvitt and her husband Rusty all of Chester, SC; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.He was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Conner.
