Chester Mr. William David Clack, 72, died Thursday, May 21, 2015, at his home.Graveside services will be held at3:00 PM on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dale Walters officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC 29706. Mr. Clack was born June 12, 1942 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late William Whugray Clack and Amanda Beatrice Huntington Clack.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.Mr. Clack was retired as the owner and operator of D&C Trucking. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Swygart Clack; one son, Alan Lee Clack (Dupre) of Chester; two daughters, Tammy Kinard (Michael) and Karen Whitesides (Royce) both of Chester; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Dean Clack, Sr. of Chester and Ronnie Hughs Clack of Winnsboro; and three sisters, Andrea Arlene “Ann” Smith of Winnsboro, Linda Carol Tucker of Union, and Janice Paulette Turpin of Elgin.Mr. Clack was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Brian Clack.
