William Lee "Bill" Beasley

CHESTER, SC: Mr. William Lee “Bill” Beasley, 70, died Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital in Spartanburg, SC.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home.The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Vicars and Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.The interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born May 17, 1946 in Mountain City, GA, Mr. Beasley was a son of the late Claude and Ruth Alexander Beasley.He was a graduate of Chester High School and attended York Technical College. Mr. Beasley was a veteran of the United States Maines Corps having served during Vietnam and was retired from Megastar Apparel Group in Chester.He attended Saluda Street Church of God. He is survived by his wife of overforty-seven years Carol Foutz Beasley; one daughter, Valerie B. Gerbersand her husband Robbie of Blackstock, SC; one son, Jeff Beasley and his fiancé Nickie of Chester; four grandchildren, Adam Beasley, Bailey Beasley and Brilee Beasley all of Chester and Michaela Gerbers of Blackstock, SC; two sisters, Lois Miller of Chester and Dean Brunson of Great Falls and one brother, Rex Beasley and his wife Carolyn of Chester and numerous nieces and nephews.
