Whitfield Pee Wee Clark

Mr. Whitfield John “Pee Wee” Clark, Sr., 74, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at his residence.A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 at the homewith Rev. Steve Anderson officiating. Born October 1, 1937 in Gueydan, Louisiana Mr. Clark was a son of the late Emile Clark and Angeline Smith Clark.He attended the schools of Metairie, Louisiana and retired from Illinois Central Piggyback and from Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office with the rank of Sergeant.He was a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Loraine Walgamotte Clark; two sons, Whitfield Clark, Jr. and his wife Della of Richburg, SC and Owen Leslie Clark of Hammond, Louisiana ; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, Wilbert Clark and his wife Judy of Slidell, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilfred “Joe” Clark and Wildis “Charlie” Clark and one sister, Wilda Mae Clark Coles; many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and those he considered siblings such as Nolan, Earl, Ira, Carl Gaspard and Brenda G.
