Chester, SC: Warren Albert “Pappy” Watts, 92, died Sunday June 3, 2018 at Magnolia Manor, Rock Hill, SC. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church with Reverend Buzzy Elder and Reverend Clint Davis officiating .The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Barron Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be held in Union ChurchCemetery, Richburg, SC . Mr. Watts was born in Chester County, SC on March 26, 1926 and lived on Lizzie Melton Road and was one of eleven children. He was the son of the late John David Watts and Della Wylie Jordan Watts. He attended the schools of Chester County andhad a long career of Music and entertainment. Pappy was retired from Schlegel Corporation as a supervisor and was member of Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church Pappy had a long and happy life with his first wife Eliza Matthews Watts and her three children, Karen, Donna and Pat. Pappy and Eliza were the parents of Jill Roach (Eddie). Jill and Eddie have two children, Magan Forte (Tony) and James Warren Roach (Kara) and four grandchildren. For the last fifteen years he has been married to M. Lou Ford Watts. There have been lots of busy and happy times with his music and their wonderful dog Maggie. Pappy is also survived by four sisters, Margaret McWaters, Louise Lathrop, Joyce Hall and Della McCorkle and a brother, Sam Watts.
