CHESTER Mrs. Vivian Kathleen Barnes Hullander, 93, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill, SC.A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain, NC with Rev. Eric Shepard officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home. Born May 6, 1922 in Clinton, SC, Mrs. Hullander was a daughter of the late Richmond and Lita Cox Barnes and the widow of Paul W. Hullander, Sr.She was a graduate of Kings Mountain High School and retired as secretary and bookkeeper from Paul’s Pontiac Buick in Chester.She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a“Rosie the Riveter” during World War II.She was an avid bridge player, loved golf, bowling, gardening and she loved her church. She was survived by two daughters Vicki H. Lundy of Chester and Lynda Lee of Inman, SC; four grandchildren, Roxanne Hullander of Rock Hill, SC, Adam V. Clark of Duluth, MN, Elizabeth Barrett Davis of Simpsonville, SC and Michael Lee of Rock Hill, SC; six great grandchildren, Triston Eldreth of Rock Hill, SC, Jonah Grace Davis of Simpsonville, SC, L. Alexander Davis of Simpsonville, SC and Abel Davis of Simpsonville, SC, Daniel Lee and Jacob Lee of Rock Hill, SC and three great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Hullander was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Webb Hullander, Sr.,one son Paul W. “Pete” Hullander, Jr. and one grandson Paul W. “Tracy” Hullander, III Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, PO Box 751, Chester, SC 29706.
