CHESTER: Mrs. Virginia Smith ?Doot? Grant, 64, of 297 Center Street Apartment 9, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at her residence. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Barron Funeral Home with Pastor David Black, Reverend Ronnie Greene and Pastor Cecil Dover officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A native of Chester, SC, Mrs. Grant was the daughter of the late William L. Smith and Gladys Reeves Smith. She attended the schools of Chester County, retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Harvest Time Ministries Tabernacle of Love. Surviving is her Uncle Wylie A. ?Dub? Smith of Chester, SC, three nieces and several cousins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 Monday afternoon at Barron Funeral Home.
