CHESTER Mr. Tony Stephen Chappell, 59, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC.A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Dr. Dennis Willoughby officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. ? 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barron Funeral Home and other times at the home of Nancy and William Lewis, 3158 Bethlehem Road, Blackstock, SC 29014. Born May 31, 1952 in Chester, SC, Mr. Chappell was a son of the late George Chappell and Ida Mae Anglon Chappell.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries as a sweeper. He is survived by four sisters, Nancy C. Lewis and her husband William of Blackstock, SC, Pam C. Crenshaw and her husband Don of Rock Hill, SC, Tina C. Roper of Polk City, FL and Debra C. Simone of Polk City, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia C. Boone and a brother Tommy Joel Chappell.
