Timothy Fudge-Rogers

Edgemoor Mr. Timothy Fudge-Rogers, 64, died Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his home. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Tim was born June 3, 1959 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Harry O’Neil Fudge and Alice Jayne Riley Fudge. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School Class of 1977 and Furman University Class of 1981. He also studied music at Winthrop University. Tim was an actor with a background in Musical Direction. He was a member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Nashville, TN where he arranged scores for the musicals and was also an accomplished soloist. Tim was instrumental in the founding of Thistle Farms in Tennessee. He also acted and directed numerous musicals throughout Nashville including the Lake Junaluska Singers, Chaffin’s Barn Theater, The National Repertory Theatre, the Furman Singers and he recorded solo albums. Tim is survived by his husband, Charles Lindy Rogers; one brother, Harry O’Neil Fudge, Jr. of Chester, SC; one sister, Pam Guinn (Bryan) of Edgemoor, SC; several nieces and nephews; and his two furry feline friends, EQ and Nebula. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Riley Fudge.
