Chester Mr. Tillman Blease “Doc” Crouch, Jr., 65, died Thursday, May 14, 2015.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Chester Freedom Ministries with Pastor Steve Bishop and Rev. Mike Black officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Crouch was born August 23, 1949 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Tillman B. Crouch, Sr. and Katherine Shirley Crouch.He was a graduate of Chester High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Vietnam. “Doc” retired as a long distance truck driver for McKenzie Tank Lines and also drove for Coburg Milk.He was a member of Leeds Baptist Church and was currently attending Chester Freedom Ministries.“Doc” was a crew member of the Ray Beatty Racing Team. He is survived by his wife, Sissy S. Crouch; three daughters, Sabrina Crouch Strickland (Michael) of Clover, Becky Beckham Dickey (Roger) and Lisa Stone Hall (Guy) both of Chester; two sons, Johnny Beckham of Blackstock and Charlie Stone (Paula) of Chester; six grandchildren, Hannah Hall, Carson Stone, Kody Hall, Chloe Dickey, McKinley Strickland, and Gavin Strickland; and three sisters, Betty Roberts of Chester, Geraldine Williams of Greenville, TN., and Kathy Wyatt of Chester.
