Thurman W. "Sisco" Sisk

Chester Mr. Thurman William “Sisco” Sisk, Jr., 71, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 10, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Chester with Rev. Skeet Thomas, Rev. Tommy Thurston and Rev. Bayliss Adimaro officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the vestibule of the church. Mr. Sisk was born August 30, 1947 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Thurman W. Sisk, Sr. and Evelyn Hefner Sisk.He was a graduate of Chester High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army and also the S.C. Air National Guard.Mr. Sisk was the retired owner and operator of Sisk In & Out.He was an avid Gamecock fan, the College of Charleston Cougars and the St. Louis Cardinals.He love spending time at Ocean Lakes Campground and driving around Myrtle Beach in his red Corvette.He was a loyal friend, husband, father and grandfather.Mr. Sisk was a member of First Baptist Church Lowrys. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dianne S. Sisk; one son, Dusty Sisk (Jean Ann) of Chester; two grandsons, Dustin Sisk (fiancé, Courtney) of Summerville and Evan Sisk of Chester; and one nephew, Bert Bickett (Leigh Ann) of Chester.Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by a son, Tony Sisk and a sister, Pam Bickett.
