Thomas Dean Snipes

Mr. Thomas Dean Snipes, 76, went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday December 3, 2023 at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Gaston officiating. Interment will follow in Armenia church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church. Mr. Snipes was born June 11, 1947 in Chester, SC and was the son of the late Luther J. Snipes and Lettie Robinson Snipes. He was a graduate of Chester High School and York Tech. Mr. Snipes was retired from Omnova Solutions and earlier worked with Campus. Tommy enjoyed running, lifting weights and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Sandra Bailey Snipes; one son, David Thomas Snipes (McKenzie) of Chester, SC; two grandchildren, Tyra and Timothy Queen of Chester, SC; one brother, Wayne Snipes (Patsy) of Chester, SC; one sister, Barbara Wheeler of Chester, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Debbie Morrison (Tony) of Lake Wateree, SC and his brother-in-law Tommy Bailey (Karen) of Chester, SC; In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph , Luther and Bobby Snipes; two sisters, Patsy Tarleton and Myrtle Roberts; father-in-law, .T.A.
