Chester Mr. Thomas Phillip Roberts, 71, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center.A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Fowler and Rev. Lewis Vehaun officiating.Interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Roberts was born September 21, 1943 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Frank Roberts and Lucille Arnold Elkins.He worked in the Textile Industry for many years, before retiring from Chester County. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Loving Roberts; a daughter, Vickie Couch of Chester, SC; a son, Travis Roberts of Ft. Lawn, SC; three brothers, Frank Roberts “Booty” of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Jerry Roberts and Billy Roberts both of Chester, SC; and three grandsons, Trent Couch, Justin Couch and Aiden Roberts.
