CHESTER: Mr. Thomas Carroll Lewis, 79, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Chester Regional Medical Center.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Reggie Parker officiating.The interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home. Born February 22, 1935 in Union County, SC, Mr. Lewis was the son of the late Carroll Lewis and Pearl Wells Lewis. He attended the schools of Union County, SC and was retired from Springs Industries and Essex Corporation.He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.Mr. Lewis enjoyed gardening and being outdoors and also his pet.He was the widower of Doris Varnadore Lewis, his wife of over sixty years.
