Chester Terry Eugene Wolfe Roof, 48, died Sunday, October 27, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, at Barron Funeral Home 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC 29706. Mr. Roof was born October 22, 1965 in Chester County, SC and was a son of the late Toy and Jennie Roof.He attended Lewisville High School.Terry began his career in the family business of Roof Body Shop and was currently employed with Chad’s Towing.He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by one son, Jeff Roof of Chester; two men he claimed as sons, Stephen Turner and wife Emily of Edgemoor and Jacobbee Hopkins of Chester; one sister, Carolyn Jones of Chester; one nephew, Thomas Jones of Chester and a lifelong friend whom he claimed as his brother, Wayne Foster, Jr. of Chester.
