Chester Mr. Terry O’Dell McCorkle, 68, died Wednesday, December 02, 2015 at his home.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Lando Church of God with Rev. Ed Harris and Rev. Jimmy Chapell officiating.Interment will follow at Lando Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Lando Church of God. Born September 4, 1947, he was a son ofDorothy Henrietta (McCorkle) Hefner.Mr. McCorkle was a graduate of Lewisville High School and worked for many years with Chester County Consolidated Waste.He retired from Northern Hydraulics and was a member of Lando Church of God.Terry was a avid Gamecocks fan.He was a good father, grandfather, husband, and son. He is survived by his mother, Henrietta Hefner; one son, Bryan McCorkle and his wife, Kim, of Lancaster, SC; one daughter, Terri Lynn McCorkle of Richburg, SC; seven grandchildren, Hannah McCorkle, Kaleb Kennedy, Cameron Kennedy, Angel McCorkle, Brittney Lanier, Zach McCorkle, and Tori Ernandez; two great grandchildren, Briella McCorkle, Bentley McCorkle; and his father-in-law, Bob Bentley.
