Teddy Leon Bowden

Mr. Teddy Leon Bowden, 74. died, Friday, April 17, 2026 . All services will be private.

Mr. Bowden was born August 31, 1951 in Greenville, AL and was the son of the late Terry Lee Bowden and Ina Mae Boswell. He was a high school graduate and a Veteran of the US Marine Corp “Semper Fi” . Teddy Bear as he was known by his EMS family worked for Chester County EMS for over ten years and was a security guard for GAF. “Bop” as he was known by his family was an avid Gamecock fan and he enjoyed fishing, tractors and playing video games. He also enjoyed singing and oldies rock and roll.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Eagan (Billy) of Blackstock, SC; granddaughter, Mia Eagan; his companion, Lou Wishert of Blackstock, SC; one sister, Merry Bullard of CA; numerous nieces and nephews ,John and Michael Bowden, Kathy Bowden, Lisa Scar, Dorthy Nettles and Terry Kettle; sisters-in-law Paula Chapman and Tina Templeton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie “Bubba” Bowden, Phillip Warren, Paul Warren and his sister, Betty Warren.
