McCONNELLS Mr. Howard Hutto, 78, of 2090 Orr Road died Friday, October 09, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. The funeral will be 2:00 PM Monday at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend David Sealy officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Born March 17, 1931 in Aiken County, SC, Mr. Hutto was a son of the late Jacob Walter Hutto and Annie Beatrice Ferrell Hutto. He attended the schools of Aiken County and also the First Church of the Nazarene in Chester. Mr. Hutto was retired from Springs Industries as a cloth doffer. Surviving is his life companion, Alice Thompson Bass, four step-daughters, Barbara Maloney of Rock Hill, SC, Sarah Walker of Lockhart, SC, Carol Causey of Carlisle and Susie Thompson of Chester, SC, one step-son, Wylie Bass, Jr. of York, SC, three sisters, Barbara Lipford and Mary Shaver both of Chester, SC and Margaret Messer of Clyde, NC, thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
