Richburg Mr. Steven Wilson Johnson, 39, died, Wednesday August 6, 2019 at MUSC in Charleston. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church , 1734 Antioch Church Rd , Lancaster, SC with Rev. Trent McLaughlin and Rev. Keith Hinson officiating.Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect United Methodist Church, 3783 MountainGap Rd. Richburg, SC 29729. The family will receive friends 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson was born October 03, 1979 in Union County, NC and was a son of Debra Kay Laney Johnson and the late Charles Wilson Johnson. He was a graduate of the schools of Union County, NC and former owner operator of Johnson’s Paint and Body and was also formerly employed with Carowinds. Steven was a former Little League Baseball Coach andwas involved with a travel ball team. He served on the board for Dixie Youth BaseballLeagueand was an avid outdoors man. He was also a race car driver. He is survived by his wife of over twenty-one years, Kimberly Furr Johnson; one son Colby Johnson; one daughter, Alexis Johnson both of Richburg; five brothers, Tommy Johnson of Lancaster, J.R. Moser of Lufkin, TX, Charles “Shorty “ Johnson ( Fiancé Monica) of Monroe, NC, Stanley Johnson ( Fiancé Crystal ) of Monroe, NC, Jamie Johnson of Lancaster, SC; two sister, Donna Newell ( Bill) of Monroe, NC and Ann Johnson of Pageland, SC; sister and brother-in-law Kelly and Britt Pressley of Richburg, SC; brother-in-law, Sam Furr ( Fiancé Mandy Jackson) of Buford, SC, brother- in -lawBuddy Leonard of Tega Cay SC; mother-in-law, Roxanne Furr of Richburg, SC; best friend whom he loved as a brother T.J Looper of Lancaster, SC and Josh Simpson whom he raised as his own son of Richburg, SC.
